"New Geyser" at Nordic Heritage Museum
After the 2007 group exhibit in Seattle with Jon Adolf Steinolfsson of Iceland, a collaborative sculpture called "New Geyser", created by the exhibiting artist was presented to the Icelandic Club of Greater Seattle, and has been formally installed under glass, as part of the permanent collection of the Iceland Room in the Nordic Heritage Museum. This event marks America as the third country to retain Tryggvi's work as part of a public art collection.

At the 2006 Humboldt Arts Council Annual Member Exhibition, at the Morris Graves Museum of Art Tryggvi took a second place prize among 80 submitted artworks of all media for his sculpture, "
Birdseye Sleigh".
